In March, extensive testing and coordination processes were the focus at Energiepark Bad Lauchstädt. While central plant areas continue to be tested and fine-tuned, preparations for the next steps toward operation are already underway.
News from the construction site – the February update
In February, the focus at the Bad Lauchstädt Energy Park remained on the technical completion of central plant components. All technical components of the electrolysis plant are now on site, and further steps have also been completed in the gas processing plant. The current update provides an overview of the status of work in the individual project areas.

Wintry conditions mark the start of the year at the Bad Lauchstädt Energy Park. While weather-dependent outdoor work is on hold, important technical steps are underway inside the facilities – including preparations for gas processing, progress in the electrolysis hall, and the completed grid connection to the Leuna refinery.

As the year draws to a close, important next project steps are coming up at Energiepark Bad Lauchstädt: work on gas treatment and the electrolyzer plant continues, initial infrastructure measures have been completed, and the project team has moved into the new administration building on site.
